My cousins held their annual Father/Son outing up in the Pocono mountains of PA.
I flew up and spent the weekend.
The weather was perfect (70 and sunny) and the leaves were amazing.

Saw It in Half

I know there's a Munsters episode somewhere in this story.

A couple in rural Cambodia has terminated their 18-year marriage with a divorce settlement that entailed sawing in two the
wooden house they once shared, villagers said Friday. "Very strange, but this is what my husband wanted," she said

Shaft!

Oy. Leave it to the Brits.
I give you the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Black Moses must be rolling in his grave, to say nothing of Tiny Tim (whose picture I refuse to post).

Here's the original to cleanse your pallet.
"You say this cat Shaft is bad mother (shut your mouth)"...

Bad Day

Having a bad day at work Bunky?
Betcha it's not this bad?

Python tries to eat woman's head
A zoo owner in Germany was rescued by colleagues after a 12 foot long python began eating her head.

If it ate this, the woman's head is no problem.

Laid Back Jam

Love this song. It takes me there...
Her name is Corinne Bailey Rae and she can sing.
If I had hair to let down, I would.

Still Visiting This Planet

I don't want to steal Vicki's post so go here and read the whole thing.

Here's a taste:

People ask me, What is the purpose of life? And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.

One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-- but not the end of me.

I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal.. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity.

We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.

Just visiting this planet baby. Just visiting...
